International Sex Worker Day

Sex Worker in Myanmar Network, through the support of UNAIDS, organised the International Sex Worker day together with Gender Equality Network (GEN). It aims to end social stigma and discrimination on Sex Workers. In the meeting, government officials, UN, INGO, sex worker organizations, social influencers, celebrities, authors and many stakeholders attended and discussed to reduce the social stigma and discrimination on sex workers. Executive director of Alliance Myanmar Dr. Soe Naing participated as the panel speakers at the event. Alliance Myanmar supported SWiM in production of visibility items so that general public become aware of the day.
